Kubota Garden Foundation sponsors several events throughout the year for the public and for our members. The calendar and list below reflect those events.

  • *February 15, 2-4pm: Forest Bathing session with Cascadia Forest Therapy
  • *April 16, 5:30pm: Forest Bathing session with Cascadia Forest Therapy
  • May 3, 9am-1pm:  Annual Spring Plant Sale
  • May 10, 10-11:30am:  Storytime at Kubota Garden – Lori Matsukawa reads Brave Mrs. Sato
  • *May 29-31:  dani tirrell and The Congregation present Leviticus or Love and to walk amongst HUMANS! Book II
  • *June 7, 11am-1pm:  Pollinator Safari with ecologist educator Chloe Markovits
  • June 14, 10-11:30am:  Storytime at Kubota Garden
  • *June 21, 10-1130am & 1-2:30pm:  Soapstone Carving Workshop for Youth
  • July 9, 6:30-8pm:  Volunteer Ice Cream Social

  • August 6: Jazz in the Garden
  • August 9, 10-11:30am:  Storytime at Kubota Garden
  • *August 16, 11am-1pm:  Pollinator Safari with ecologist educator Chloe Markovits
  • August 24, 1-3pm:  Summer Thunder – Taiko at Kubota Garden
  • September 6, 9am-1pm:  Annual Fall Plant Sale
  • *September 20, Noon-3pm:  KGF Annual Members’ Meeting & Celebration
  • September 27 & 28, 10am-4pm:  Art in the Garden – A Sculpture Walk
  • *October 4, 10-11am & 11:15am-12:15pm:  Taiko Drumming Workshop for Youth
  • *October 18, 11am-1pm: Spider Safari with ecologist educator Chloe Markovits
  • November 24 to December 6:  Houseplants for the Holidays​ 
Ongoing Events:
  • *Free public tours on the 4th Saturday of each month, 10 am to 12 pm. 
  • *Tuesdays maintenance at the Garden – every Tuesday 10am-12pm
  • *Thursdays maintenance at the Garden – every Thursday 10am-12pm
