Testimonials
“I am able to share my joy of volunteering with each visitor and I get to hear the many stories of why people came to visit. It’s the beauty and people that keep me coming back!” – Agnes Goodwin, Garden Greeter
“From its beginning, Fujitaro Kubota wanted the garden to be a community gathering place, open to all. I like to think that we are carrying on his legacy of sharing the garden with others and educating people about the Japanese American experience.” – Barbara Yasui, Tour Guide, Education Committee
“The plant sales are always great because so many people look forward to beautifying their own gardens with their selections from the sale. It’s fun to see how excited our customers are with their choices.” – Mari Hayashi, Plant Sales, Special Events
