Take a guided tour

Kubota Garden Foundation is now accepting requests for group tours.

Self-Guided Tours

Detailed maps are located in a birdhouse-like structure near the kiosk. There are many trails through the Garden and all are open to the public. The map shows which paths have easier terrain and which are more challenging.
  • Protect the garden by remaining out of the planted areas and by walking on lawns and gravel surfaces.
  • Please supervise your children.
  • Dogs must be on a leash and owners are asked to clean-up after them.
  • Please remove all valuables from your vehicles to avoid car prowls. If you must leave items in your car, please place them where they cannot easily be seen before you get to the Garden.

Group Tours

If you would like to schedule a guided tour of the Garden:
  1. Make up a party of 8 to 20 people.
  2. Complete the Tour Request Form. Information you will be asked to supply include:
    • Name.
    • Phone number.
    • Email address.
    • Size of your group (Between 8 and 20, please).
    • If special accessibility arrangements will be required.
    • Any information about your group, time constraints or subject areas you would like covered in your tour.
    • First and second choice for date and time of tour.
  3. Please allow at least three weeks prior to the date you want to schedule your tour to request a tour guide.
  4. Meet near the entrance adjacent to the parking lot on the day/time you have scheduled to tour the Garden.
  5. Masks are encouraged but not required.
  6. If you or anyone in your group is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please have them not attend, or reschedule your tour for another day.
  7. A limited mobility route is available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. This tour is about 45min to an hour and covers a much shorter distance in the flat area of the garden. At this time we cannot provide these tours on weekends. Thank you for your understanding.

There is no charge; however, donations are readily accepted.
